As usual, Mike Memphis, of the Carroll County Times, organized the Bee. This year's Bee featured Spencer Gear as Emcee; Audrey Cimino as the Pronouncer; Carol Sapora, the Director of the Literacy Council, as the Judge; and Joe Cimino as director. Sue Armstrong was the timekeeper, and Wayne Barnes the Scorekeeper. Lexographer, Orin Hargraves, again supplied the word list.
